Separation agreements: Are they really a clean break?

A separation agreement is an important tool companies use when an employee is let go. Typically, in the agreement, a severance pay amount is offered to the employee for a promise to waive all potential claims against your company. This sounds like a great idea- you will never hear from the employee again, right? Not so much!
