Divorce can be a long and costly process. Spouses contemplating divorce should determine what they (literally and figuratively) want at the onset—revenge or resolve. Far too often, divorces are filed as a spiteful tactic or as a means of avenging a wrong; and not because the parties actually want to divorce.
