C&G routinely represents daycare providers that service Department of Human Services (DHS) clients. Among other issues, the providers are faced with onerous audits, investigations from the Bureau of Children and Adult Licensing, the Office of the Inspector General and the Michigan Department of Education. Some of these matters can result in Provider Disqualification, which renders a daycare provider ineligible to bill for the care they are providing. In most cases, this will result in the provider having to close their doors, children being rerouted to different centers and staff losing their jobs.
We just received word that Attorney Crump-Gibson successfully appealed yet another Provider Disqualification that resulted from an investigation from the Office of the Inspector General! Our comforted client will be able to continue to provide quality care in an underserved community!
